Of just how excited I am to work at this hospital. I had not one, not two, but THREE pokes today. One for the flu vaccine, one for the DTaP vaccine, and one for a blood draw:

they actually don't use needles in our clinic -- they use air guns that shoot a really fast stream of injection into the kids' arms/legs. so everything's over super-fast. i hear they hurt like a MOTHER though, so i've gracefully declined trying it on myself. yes, that's right, we pediatricians are actually a bunch of heartless sadists. ;)
